FORMULATION SERVICES
Catering for a range of formulation requests. All custom designed in collaboration with the you to meet your unique specifications.
For farmers, this could be feedlot rations for sheep or beef and/or containment feeding programs; customised grain balancer concentrates, or specialised ram or bull preparation rations and feeding plans.
For consultants, I can create your own custom premix, grain balancer pellets or complete rations to meet the requirements of your clients and/or provide an alternate income.
For supplement or stockfeed mills, I can work within your own specifications or help create your own. I'm also available to assist when short-term formulation assistance is needed e.g. staff on leave.
CONSULTING SERVICES
In farming systems, a seasonal or yearly approach is typically required for improved performance. I offer yearly programs to assist with improving operational plans, balancing nutrition throughout the season, and guidance on livestock management. We create your own reproductive assessments to enable you to benchmark yourself year-on-year, along with a feedlot budget to help review ingredient usage requirements, lamb performance and assess profitability of the stock on feed.
Stud preparation programs are also available with a more intense focus over a shorter time frame, typically 4-5 months. You will have your own custom ration prepared, containing a specific grain balancer concentrate focussed on fertility, hoof and joint health. The ration/s are accompanied by a specific feeding plan to ensure your stock are introduced to the feed appropriately to minimise any issues arising from sub-clinical acidosis such as laminitis and potential negative effects on fertility.
